Welcome to the temporary home page of chessKIDS academy version 3. This is a synthesis of the previous two versions along with much new material, and is designed for children learning chess, their parents and teachers.

Children need a course in the basics before being encouraged to play competitively. That course needs to work on a step-by-step basis, introducing children to one skill at a time, and testing and reinforcing that skill by means of quizzes, games and puzzles.

The materials to take your children to that level can be found by accessing the menu on your left. More advanced material is to be found elsewhere on the site. Changes and additions are happening all the time - please come back often.

Feel free to test everything here for bugs, navigation errors and so on.
